Nature Fresh Farms representatives get mobile health clinic
The new year carried a new approach to get health care rapidly for workers at Nature Fresh Farms, Leamington, Ontario — onboard a mobile health clinic.
The 38-foot bus, parked close to Plant 1 greenhouse a week ago, offers services including diagnosis and treatment, counseling and referrals, as indicated by a news release.
The mobile clinic alternates between the organization's Plant 1 and Plant 2 facilities every Thursday giving nearby on-site health care services from a nurse practitioner.
“The weCHC Mobile Clinic treats illness or injury but can also serve as a family doctor for our local and foreign employees seeking proactive health care,” Jeff Gagnon, Nature Fresh Farms corporate compliance director, said in the release.
